Enjoy!
IBC delivered another Zodiac MK3 Futura Fast Rescue Boat today for the Columbia Basin Dive Rescue Team.
Check out the boat below in the gallery and know IBC is there when you need it most with the right crew to save lives in the worst conditions on the planet. If you get a chance check out Columbia Basin Dive Rescue and see what you can do to help.
When other boats can’t, or it’s too dangerous, IBC and Zodiac excel and get the job done!
I just talked to Sea Dog Dean over at the Pacific Marine Mammal Center and he sent us this nice pic I thought I’d share.
They are using a Zodiac MK3 Futura for disentanglement and fast rescue of whales, seals, and sea lions. Apparantly they are able to recieve a sattelite becon signal from some tagged animals and quickly respond to free or rescue said marine mammals from otherwise dire circumstances. The crew here at IBC love the ocean and all of it’s wonders and creatures. It’s always good news when the Pacific Marine Mammal Center is able to respond and rescue some of the most interesting and playful animals on the planet. They had one of the busiest years on record saving harbor seals, sea lions and whales off the coast. If you get a second go to their site and see how you can help make the world a better place. In the mean time enjoy the pic!

Here’s some more extra special pics from the 2013 Portland Rose Festival Dragon Boat Races taken by photographers Susie and Larry.
IBC was on station for the “Wakeing The Dragons” ceremony and grabbed a couple of pics from our rescue/safety mooring.IBC provided the boat, motor, operator, and rescue gear for the weekend’s activities. Fortunately no rescues were performed and the event was smooth sailing all the way. IBC also performed shuttle duties for the committee boats at the start and finish lines allowing volunteers to take shifts and have breaks during an otherwise long weekend.Enjoy the pics from IBC’s unique position as the only boat allowed in the exclusion zone. One more reason why an inflatable boat is the right choice in boating.
Friday night the IBC Shark Rescue Crew takes a minute to discuss the details of the ongoing shallow water studies on island “X”. Where other props and boats fear to go the inflatable boat excells letting operators get to that “Secret Spot” quickly and safely with a full science package.
