Blue Marlin Fishing In A Zodiac

At this point you’ve seen the salmon and the bass,trout etc. from our customers in inflatable boats. “But can you bill fish from one of your little rubber boats”. Ha! The answer is YES!

Salmon Fishing In Inflatable Boats

I get alot of questions regarding fishing in an inflatable boat.

You know the whole “Will it sink”, or “What if a hook pokes it?”, or my favorite “What do you do if a shark comes?”. This is the point where I tell them “Maybe you’d be better off fishing on the beach instead of a boat”. Sure any of those things could happen, but they could happen on a wood, fiberglass, or metal boat just as easily as an inflatable with the exception of sinking that is. It’s virtually impossible to sink an inflatable boat, just ask the special forces,fire dept.,police,rescue teams,etc. about why they use them.

So yeah it’s possible to catch salmon on the river, bays and blue water from an inflatable boat.

It’s Hurricane season again at IBC in Portland! This time of year the various state, federal and NGO agencies bring in their Zodiac Hurricanes for service, repair, and re-certification. As a Zodiac Dealer and Repair Center (the oldest Zodiac dealer in North America) IBC handles all types of repairs and replacements for recreational, military and professional lines of Zodiac and other brands of inflatable boats. This week IBC is hosting all North American Dealerships for the Zodiac Repair Class. The repair class is required for anyone working on a Zodiac inflatable boat in order to be a certified technician.
